Default New Axis wheels for GTR

Hello All,

I went by axis wheels the other day to talk to my sales rep and the owner just got a new GTR. They are make some wheels for it. It is a mesh wheel that you can add a pin stripe too. Like there other wheels, the pin stripe is optional. I just got this pictures from my sales rep. Check them out, see how you like them.

Damn, that is sweet looking. I don't usually like the "mesh" wheels but those look great.

speedracer- the pin stripe is optional. So it came come with it, or you can get the wheels all black also.

DarinF-I will double check on the specs for you. Right now they are in prototype stage. So I will see if they have the official specs for the production one yet.

Nice wheels. If the stripe comes in red color would look nice also on the red R35.

Yes,
It does look bit similar but what mesh wheel doesn't. I mean we can talk about how the spoke curvature is different, how the spokes may be a different thickness but in the end, people still may compare it to the Type-M and its not like the Type M is a original design.

They don't look bad, would prefer them with a lip. The stock rims come with that inner lip that keeps the tires on when beasting through corners, do these rims come with that same feature?

Default new gtr owner

i was admiring the wheels, however the dealer said to me one should only ride OE wheels because the wheel design pulls the hot air away from the brake roter and calipers any thoughts??

Dealers don't know squat. Brakes do need better cooling for the race track but a stock r35 will be fine with aftermarket rims.
