ok yall i want to make plans to take a trip to Austin.. let's start trying to plan
somthing. Please if anyone knows if we could make a point to make to a sushi dive called uchi www.uchiaustin.com .. maybe we can contact them and see if they can hook us up with parking and dining package!! Let Get the GT-R rolling yall!! I'm very excited bout this so let's really try to make this work. I will be coming from Dallas.. :o

I'm in Austin, so count me in. I'll be out of town for vacation in Asia mid-March for about 2 weeks, but anytime before or after that I'M THERE. :)

BTW, any particular reason why uchi? There's a little hole in the wall sushi place called "Osaka Mansun" here that I personally think makes the best sushi in Austin.

(They're Korean owned, so they have the Kalbi and Bulgolgi stuff too.) :)

Might I also suggest we do a trip up to the Oasis while everyone's down here? Nothing like a GT-R meet at a place where you can sip on a damn good mango margarita while overlooking the gorgeous scenery of Lake Travis. :)

To reiterate from the thread from the General Forum (I just tore through the Austin Dragon yesterday... and it was an absolute BLAST!):

It's about a 30 min drive based on the above. But, if you look at the highlighted portion of the route in red, that's what I call the "Austin Dragon," a stretch of ~3.5 mile of extreme twists, turns, and major elevation changes... ABSOLUTELY good times with the GT-R. :)

OH, totally forgot about Lime Creek Rd. Even twistier, longer, and TOTALLY sweet in the GT-R. :)

thats the last saturday of the month for me... i will work it out the best that i can Summer is a killer for my schedule.. I just might have to make it for the next one... :mad:
